Roger usually like to fuck us scheduling NE early in the year.

Getting them late will mean PIT is usually playing its best football, and it COULD have seeding implications which is added incentive....plus, if they get their ass kicked late in the year the coaches might actually come up with a different gameplan in the playoffs.

It would not shock me to see the Steelers not game plan for the Patriots game just assuming that they can then change it up in the post season after ceding the home game opportunity to NE.

My initial thoughts...Could win 9 games...Could win 12 games.

So I will guess 10-6

At cincy only cold weather away game. Key early game away Chicago. MB will be back with scorched earth, roll Cleve and Minn. Chicago game is typical kind of game that Tomlin allows to get out of control. The Chicago game will determine seeding. Win away in Chicago and go 3 and 0 we might have a shot for a bye.

Well I thought when I first saw the placement of the Pats game that maybe we were set up as the perfect choice for a flex to my dream of a home SNF game.

Then I looked to see what was scheduled there that week - Cowboys at Raiders. I'm screwed. Dallas can be 0-14 and the NFL still wouldn't move their "money" team away from the lights.

I still think we can take them. We'll see. I hate 4:25 starts.

Second half of that schedule is a bitch. Nice that 5 of the last 7 @ home.

Ben is soooooooo much better at home than he is on the road. This is a very good thing. And one of the away games is against a Colts team we've been steamrolling lately.

First half of the schedule is cake, we could go at least 9-0 with a strong effort.

  9-0. that's a riot. Are they trading Tomlin this offseason or something? they could start 0-1 the way they lay stinkers on the road against bad teams.

We'll be 5-4, but rally to win the division at 11-5 as usual.

Wish they gave us a fucking bye week after we time travel to play Green Bay

Someone today told me the Steelers travel less than any team in the NFL next season.

Is this true?

Sample size. Not really true if you look over the course of his career.

I'm aware of this. Unfortunately time only flows in one direction, and it's away from the rest of his career. If we want an idea of how he'll play this season, it makes more sense to look at 2015 and 2016 than 2005 or 2010.

Maybe it's just me, but that schedule looks a little easier than the Steelers usual draw. Am I wrong?

The schedule is almost always preset in terms of the teams. You have your 6 divisional games, then you play two other divisions that rotate yearly, thats 8 more games. So that just leaves two wild card games which they match up with teams that had similar divisional results the previous year I believe. That would be NE and KC this year.

Everyone is saying how easy the early schedule is. Well they are playing 6 of the first 9 games on the road. We may be in for a rude awakening.
