I know LaCanfora gets a lot of hate around here, but at some point, I feel it's worth taking a step back just to admire the long-term consistency of his Steelers reporting. So I'd like to, in this thread, archive the laundry list of revelations that were first reported by Mr. LaCanfora. Off the top of my head, I come up with three, but I know there are literally dozens more, and if you guys could contribute I'd appreciate it.
(1) 'Don't be surprised when the Steelers cut Hampton in a few weeks' [Post 2010 season]
(2) 'Steelers ready to trade up to bring in Mike Pouncey' [pre-2011 NFL draft]
(3) 'Steelers deal with Mike Wallace basically done' [2 weeks ago]
(4) 'Steelers working on deal for Roethlisberger to Raiders, Rams said no.'

At some point, you have to wonder whether he really does have a high-level source who just thinks its hilarious to troll him.

The funniest thing was the Perch Peaches twitter battle
Perch is such a laid back dude...If you piss him off he gets real fired up...Peaches upset Perch a lil bit and Perch dropped the hammer of the Gods on his ass

Perch, or maybe FC, has to share the story of how Peaches got his name. It's classic!
And it would be hilarious if some high-level source was just trolling him, but you'd think at some point he'd get the hint and stop using that source.
Unfortunately - and this applies to all news - in the internet/blogosphere age the public now rewards scoops/speed over accuracy.
