I still cannot believe Flacco's name was mentioned in this thread.
Seriously.

Flacco is less-laughable than Carson Palmer.
Remember how people thought Palmer was so good, such a great decision maker and excellent at reading defenses? This just after a few years in the league. Then what happened? His OL went to shit. Defenses caught-up to the predictable playcalling and he no longer had 4-5 guys open all over the field. And suddenly he didn't look so polished or good. A guy some people were ready to put on the level of Brady or Manning was exposed as completely mediocre just a few years later.

Seriously. He was in the section of maybes CONTINGENT on him getting a ring or 2. Based on how close the Ravens were last year I don't think it's out of the question he might win one.

Baltimore's ONE CHANCE was last season. Everything broke perfect for them, until.....well.......everything went to shit. Watch what happens from here on out with Flacco.........

Call me names, but I don't think the Steelers are marking down the 2 Ravens games as cakewalks this year. Flacco deserves respect. He's not elite, but he could become elite.

He'll never, ever be elite. Under any circumstances. .....unless you have a really, really, really loose interpretation of "elite." As in "that John Kitna's elite!"
