Who the hell is this "everybody" that thought Chris Rainey was going to be the heir apparent?
It was going to be Redman from Jump Street.
God...these authors don't even try and hide when they're making up shit out of whole cloth anymore, do they?

If the line starts opening good holes and getting a surge, any of the backs are going to do pretty well running. It is the other things: blocking, receiving that will get certain players more playing time. Redman does everything well enough to be relied on in a variety of different situations. I am hoping Dwyer will step it up and I think that combination could be very effective in a lot of ways, which will help with the passing game.

Good post, a good example of this is Shanahans Broncos, he spit RB's out like he had a penny RB dispenser. His OL was dirty, but they created holes. I'm excited to see what they speed out of the backfield can do with the new OL. I'm completely sold on them. I think there will be bumps & bruises early, but I have no doubt they'll gel. This all boils down to Haley, though. This can (& in my opinion, will be) the most dynamic offense we've had in a loooong time. It depends how he uses the running game, & doesn't fall in love with Bens ability to bail out broken plays. I think he'll stick to the plan he created in prep time, through out a game. I'm frothing at the thought of him using our talented players in the best position to succeed. It just went from 6 to midnite. *Greek Yogurt*

Quote: It appears Isaac Redman will replace Rashard Mendenhall in Steelers starting lineup by JamesSmith from: faniq.com
Everyone thought Rashard Mendenhall’s injury will bring Chris Rainey to the field. Chris Rainey’s super speed and impeccable catching abilities made him the number one choice after Rashard Mendenhall. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for more brawn than in the 5-foot-8-inch 180-pound Chris Rainey. This left the Pittsburgh Steelers with one option and that was Isaac Redman.
That's complete and total bullshit in nearly every way imaginable. Redman is the first option to replace Mendenhall and has been for more than a season. The moment Mendenhall went down, Redman was the defacto starter, period. Who the fuck is this everyone? Rainey was drafted to be a complimentary piece not the number choice If you're going to write shit for a place called fanIQ, it shouldn't be completely idiotic.
