Thanks for the heads up, 09.
Man, we need to get back on the winning track!

I'm a member of the group who feels that the Pirates getting no-hit just isn't meant to be.
Joe Randa's HR, Josh Harrison looking absolutely fucking putrid at the plate before luckily slapping one up the middle, those are as close as we got.
And with as bad as this franchise has been for 20 years...if it hasn't happened yet. It isn't going to happen.

Man, we need to get back on the winning track! Hell yeah, Joe.....AJ on the mound inspires confidence. Unlike Charlie Meat and Kevin Correia this year.

Josh was the only Bucco that didn't strike out all game and the only Bucco that got a hit....yet you disparage him again and again. You have an agenda. Just let the stats speak for themselves; don't make shit up. Fucking asshole "journalists"!

Just let the stats speak for themselves; don't make shit up. Fucking asshole "journalists"! Did you watch the game? Did you see how awful his at-bat was prior to that hit? Fuck you and your "agenda" bullshit. My only agenda is that he looked awful at the plate. Also, you want stats? Ok here's a stat... In 251 career plate appearances Josh Harrison has drawn an incredible THREE WALKS! Three. There is absolutely no reason he should be leading off for any professional baseball team. Fact. The fact that he got lucky and got a hit yesterday is irrelevant to the fact that he's the last guy who should be leading off and that prior to making contact for that hit he swung at two pitches that were either three feet outside or had bounced off the dirt. Nothing I said about Harrison is wrong. If you want to praise a guy for having zero ability to draw walks and if you're okay with him leading off that's fine. But criticism is still allowed on this board. So I will continue to criticize Josh Harrison for being terrible and Clint Hurdle for thinking it's smart to have him lead-off.

Sometimes you try something to see what sticks. I sure wish Jose would be more consistent, but he's not, as has been mentioned.
I love JHay, but it's clear he's not producing as well this year as he was in spot duty last season. But I have no problem with Hurdle trying it out.

Tabata was being disciplined for not hustling the day before. It was the only reason he wasn't in the lineup and leading off. It was the only reason Harrison was leading off. Let's not make this more than it is. Hurdle isn't stupid enough to believe Harrison is really a lead off hitter.
