he hasn't fallen like Heath Bell has, but shit, it doesn't feel like we can just hand the lead over to him in the 9th anymore That was his first one, but yeah, he has struggled.

Man, what a great fucking game! Heart stopping. Barajas...dude, I should dis you more, man. Love it!
Hammer nearly blew it, but that will happen. Since the swoon of the team last season, he hasn't been as reliable as he was in the first 2/3 of last season, but hasn't been horrible either. Just don't have that "safe" feeling I had early last year. I think he'll be fine and regain form.
Great fucking victory! Let's make it two in a row tonight!

that was a HUGE victory against a very good Nats team -- Bucs have proven they can play with anyone -- Great pitching will keep us competitive against any of the best teams.

Kudos to AJ for pitching eight innings of great baseball. Cutch with a bomb and then of course Barajas' walk off. Way to hang in there fellas, but of course, we had 'em all the way!

The first half of last season, Hanrahan was about as good as a closer can be. While we would love for to be that again, that would seem to be a bit unreasonable. He's still pretty damn good, but has definetly not been as sharp, even when succesful. He seems to be having trouble spotting his slider at times and then needs to rely on his fastball to often. When that's the case, Adam LaRoche happens! I think JH will be fine in the long run, as long as he isn't masking some kind of injury like Meek tried to do last year!
