I'm beating a dead horse. I know. But I can't contain my excitement. Big, smart, potentially great players on both sides of the line fell to us this year.
I truly, truly think that Adam, DeCastro, and Ta'amu will be figuratively and literally huge pieces of the puzzle for our future success. Each has his own reason for success: Adams' family's love of the Steelers, DeCastro's intelligence and technique, and Ta'amu may have the best mentor/big brother a player could ask for in Troy.
I know I'm a little bit late to the party in expressing it, and I know that this thread is otherwise pointless and overkill, but Damn if F-ing pumped.
I love this team!

With you all the way, Hoosier! Love your enthusiasm. If these 3 men live up to their potential, look out!

It's gonna be awesome! As soon Willie Colon gets moved to Guard we are guaranteed our 7th Lombardi!!! (Disclaimer: For you not so smart guys out there I'm being sarcastic. )

Our lines have a lot of potential and that's exciting.

Can you believe Fat Willie Colon's parents let him play football? .....................and he's always hurt.

Saw on some website where a poster was writing that the offensive lines are no longer so important; that scheme is more significant than the quality of linemen, with WR, QB, TE, RB being the critical positions. The writer also predicted that PS would start to see injuries at WR and CB this season because of changes in scheme. Not sure I understand all the reasoning, but it sounded like he was describing the experiment of the last few years by the PS. I am of the opposite view; I think building from the lines outward makes sense, but at any rate it will be fun to see for ourselves and judge the difference this season. One question I have is: how many and which games do we lose/ afford to lose getting this young line some experience before it gels by the latter part of the season?
