I still remember that touchdown dance of his, like he's cutting open a pineapple and drinking from it.

Tim McKyer sitting there all despondent. What a great game.

I will always wonder why Steelers didnt call a draw on that last play to cross Chargers up.

Really risky call and our running game did dick all day. Hell the offense in general just was just out of synch...I couldn't even think of what I would've drawn up...

Humphreys was sacked in the end zone for a safety with about 5 seconds left on the clock that seemed to escape the officials. They'd have to kick from the 20 and who knows how that could have played out. That always bugged me about how that game ended.

I'll still never forget waking up the morning of the SD AFCCG game in '94 to an abnormally warm and muggy day for mid January. I should've known that was an omen of things to come :x

Actually it was 20 seconds, which furthers your point.  Cowher was already shaking hands with 5 seconds left.

Not that it mattered in the end, but Cowher fucked up time management prior to the Steelers 4th & 3. John L, on the preceding play was tackled at the 3, whereupon Cowher almost immediately called timeout, with about 1:14 on the clock. The dope should've let the clock run, perhaps forcing San Diego to call time. It really came down to, all argument about Humprhies being tackled in the EZ aside, Steelers scoring on 4th down or losing the game. Had they scored though, they'd have been up 3 points, and due to the dumb Cowher timeout, SD would've had sufficient time to drive for the tying field goal.
