So I didn't see all of that, but I wouldn't doubt your bullet #1 in the least. I totally agree, except that I watch Arena Football and CFL when those are on, because they are games. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER watch any of the talking head shows, Top 100 ...never watched it. REACTION show, even if I watched the Top 100, I'd never care what the reactions to it are. I wish there was a network, that would just show GAME ACTION 24/7, Like Pro Football Network...Show existing pro leagues, Arena, other indoor leagues, CFL, and classic games from the NFL, USFL, WFL, whatever they could scrounge up, in fact, the older the better, that I would watch in a heart beat. I'd love to see some old USFL games or AFL from the '60s, even XFL. just give me GAME ACTION, original broadcasts with NO ENHANCEMENT, with no "analysis or reactions", no talk shows.

Never watch ESPN. Only watch NFLN when they are showing something from NFL films or replays of games. I do get that they have some fine analysts there though, I do like Billick, Mayock and Baldy. But generally not enough for me to tune in. I get sufficient analysis right here on this board.

Siciliano should be a game show host.

I don't want that! I want Curt Gowdy and Dandy Don singing, I don't wnat to hear interviews interspersed in between!

I have all of them on DVD now, with the original broadcasters, so when I want to really enjoy them I just throw in the DVD. The network versions are crap, but at least you get to see some old school football on TV, which is nice.

Yeah the network is a showcase of morons, Mayock changes networks me thinks in the near future. I like him doing the games though. The rest of those personalities are sad.

I think they caused addition by subtraction myself. Eisen isn't the main analyst on the show anymore which has turned out well IMO. The siciliano character is tolerable but seems a little arrogant or self obsessed. Perhaps that's his way of expressing confidence as a Network analyst. I agree with the concensus here that the show has fallen off.

What NFL Network needs to do is fill air time with something of real value and substance. I'd like to see them air a whole series of the old NFL Films shows that used to run on Saturday afternoons when I was a kid. The league owns NFL Films now so they could edit them however they want. And it'd be much better than hearing a bunch of used-to-be players trying to dig themselves out of bankruptcy (Warren Sapp) by spewing bullshit and opinions that nobody cares about.
It would be great for the younger fans to gain a historical perspective of professional football too! I personally would love to see the old footage of players like Ollie Matson, Mike Ditka, Joe Schmidt, Otto Graham, Jim Brown, Bobby Layne, and Norm Van Brocklin. Take it back as far as the tape will allow. Sort of like the History Channel for football, "if you will."

The NFL Network is a fuckin' sham. They have decades of material to draw from and could make that network bad ass. However, they resort to these ridiculous top 10 lists that are nothing short of useless. Everyone has an opinion, but nobody gives a shit. I can't watch the shit either.

Even other people's marriages can be a pain in the ass Did notice she got married....again, I think.....and changed her name. Didn't stop Eisen on Saturday from referring to her as Lyndsay Soto. As far as her dress....I dunno....her pair were pretty pronounced on Sunday night.
