Your first mistake is listening to the Fan. Your second mistake is listening to the Fan Morning Show.

And yeah, it was a joke.

Rainey got in trouble for making threats when he texted some girl "time to die, bitch" when she didn't call him back.

He told the Pittsburgh media after being drafted on Saturday that he "didn't know you could get in trouble for texting." And that "he'd never been in trouble before that" and "it'll never happen again."

Just heard on the Fan that Haley sent a tweet to opposing coaches in the division/league that it was "Time to Die" after they drafted Rainey. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

If this is true I am "damb" worried about him as our OC. It's one thing to be confident of your team. It's completely different to be a douche like that.

What would make you think that this is true? Give Haley the benefit of the doubt that he's not some unhinged maniac...if he was, he wouldn't have been hired.

Ever see him on the sidelines freaking out? Or hear about how he treated other coaches? I get it that it might have been a joke, but even so it was damb dumb true or false.

Sounds like they were making a joke about Raineys text and Haley's rep as a bit of a psycho.

Exactly. But that show does suck.

Dude, throttle back...

You get that it might have been a joke, but don't seem to get that he had nothing to do with it, nor would have.

your respect meter is dropping like a whore's rate on Sunday Morning...

...and that's without factoring in the damn repeated misspelling after people tried to point it out to you several times...

I really don't care about a "respect meter" because this site says it won't allow trolls but does so fuck it. It's turning into what ruined the other site. And I get it that people tried to point it out several times but missed the damb joke back and are still bent about crap from the past. But as far as our OC. I'll wait to call him a winner or a loser until I see what he does with the offense and how he treats other coaches and acts on the sidelines. I just have not carred for what he has done in the past and don't want to see him do that on our sideline. But carry on with whatever, it's only a message board that some take way too seriously.

C'mon on man...don't try to justify it now.

We're not doing anything regarding calling him a winner or a loser. Seems like it's irrelevant to the rest of us. You can feel free to withhold judgement all you like, but that doesn't change that you overreacted to a joke and got caught. Just say whoops and move on.

Justify what?
I did not over react to a damn thing, I was making a joke myself but some of you just go all bonkers because of the past. ( I'll bet the alias Cannonsburg signs in now.) The only thing I was being serious about was that I don't trust our new OC until I see what he does on the field with our players. Damb. I wonder what is going to happen when I say that Cleveland is going to beat out both Cinci and the Ravens this year.
