Looks that way. They really need to look into signing Derrick Lee or some big bat just to generate some offense. They also ought to give Lars Anderson in Boston some consideration. Don't know what they'd have to give up for him, but I believe he would certainly help this team. Of course, if Pedro would ever snap the hell out of it, it would make all the difference in the world.

You think he heard me?

this team's baserunning is fucking putrid --

Hurdle's ability to teach baserunning and his commitment to "aggressiveness" is an embarrassment -- no offense Mean Joe

I am watching the game on my Deck doing bong rips....A buddy of mine is over...He played baseball at Cal St Fullerton.

He just blasted Hurdle....He said The Fort should have been taking until he got 2 strikes(He felt he would have walked)

Barmes would be on 2nd
Fort on 1st

No outs.

He feels Hurdle gave away 2 outs

Smart friend -- and he played for a great team at CSF

Hurdle is way way overrated -- wish the Mets had signed him before us - I can't stand the fucker

We're supposed to like Pedro because he's hitting .125, but every time he gets a hit, it's a home run?

(Well- he would hit about 65-75 HRs if he did that, but...)
