It's that time again.... Our 6th annual Steelers Mock Draft Contest is now under way! If you haven't participated before the rules are simple. Use the following format and submit your entry for the Steelers selections in this years draft. Points will be awarded for correct guesses and the top entry will get bragging rights for the year (and a prize from the prize box yet to be determined).
Scoring: You get 5 points for picking the correct player in the correct round and draft slot (ex: 1.24 Andrew Luck) You get 4 points for picking the correct player in the correct round, but wrong slot (ex: 7.231 Vontaze Burfict, but he goes at 7.246 instead) You get 3 point for picking the correct player, but in the wrong round. (ex: 2.56 Mike Adams, but they take him in round 1) You get 2 points for picking the correct player & round with a bonus selection You get 1 points for picking the correct player, but wrong round with a bonus selection
Here is the format for your entry: 1.24 2.56 3.86 4.119 5.159 6.193 7.231 7.240 7.246 7.248 bonus: Player (round) bonus: Player (round) Tiebreaker: What draft slot will Josh Chapman be selected (example 2.40)
Who can enter: Anyone with an active account at SteelerFury can enter, but SteelerFury staff members are not eligible to win prizes (just bragging rights). One entry per person, please.
How to enter: Two ways. Either post your entry in this thread, or if you wish to hide your genius, simply PM your picks to SteelPerch.
When to enter: Starting right now, entries will be accepted up until Wednesday April 25th at midnight. If you enter by posting in this thread you can make changes until midnight on April 25th.
FAQ Yes, you can mock a trade, but be sure not to exceed the allotted 12 guesses. If you mock the Steelers moving down in round 1 and acquiring an extra mid round pick, make sure you eliminate a bonus pick.
