Not surprised at all the way they designate "3rd man in". Dubinsky from the Rangers has a beef more than anyone...

Why wasn't Giroux the third man in when he pulled Crosby from his fight with Timonen? The league is so frustrating right now - refs are so inconsistent. In one series, they call Kesler for snowing the goalie and in another series they let Karlsson get punched in the face 5 or 6 times without a call. And then the announcers... McGuire insisting that the Schenn hit was perfectly clean when it was an obvious charge. And this shit about the refs letting them play - on one hand, they credit them for not calling a penalty but will later say that the game got out of control because they failed to make a call. And one agitator's character play is another player's cheap shot.
I fully expect a Neal suspension, mainly for the old Cooke hit to the side of Giroux's head. And I think Asham's gone for the rest of the playoffs as well, mainly for the punch to Schenn.

That's the last thing we need is to bring in Big Mac IMO. Bring up a couple of the kids if need be for a taste of playoff hockey. I guarantee they will display more discipline that our regular guys have been bringing. Kovacevik is right, our AHL squad would have given up less goals in this series than the Pens have.
The Flyers will be trying to goad us into cutting our own throats with another undisciplined game and this time we need to suck it up, skate away, and just play hockey. Maybe we can draw some nice penalties, and actually capitalize on them. The Pens made their bed with that shameful display yesterday and now they get to have a heaping helping of humble pie and be on their best behavior to repair the damage they've done....to their rep and to this season. I don't know what was said last night or today by management to the team and coaching staff but it could not have been very pretty or comfortable.

What is Bylsma telling them in practices?
Has he lost this team?
A 4:1 Cup favorite ought not get swept in 4 straight while playing some of the most undisciplined hockey I've ever seen (and I'm not talking about the chippiness).
They get swept, and Bylsma should be gone.
Hell...maybe he should be gone anyway.

Henrik lundquist just pitched a 39-save shutout...was fuckin awesome. Watching the commies ruslon fedotenko and sergei gonchar in that series. Wish the hell gonchar was still on our roster
