And Schenn wasn't injured. He faked it. He was back out on the ice 4 minutes later. Also, he deserved it for launching himself into Asham's teammate. Asham did what he was supposed to do and made sure no one would take liberties with the Pens players.

Looks like i'll be rooting for the Panthers from here on out in the East and the Blues out of the west. how many points does he have against the penguins in three games again? wouldn't make a difference at all... I think Talbot's a PLUS FIFTY FUCKING FIVE in this series -- not significant.... CF must be Ray Shero And you really think that has more to do with Max Talbot than it does the way our defense and goaltending are playing? You don't think a number like that is an anomaly?

Pussy... You mean like Sid did all game? who got the first fighting major of the game today? And that only happened because Giroux engaged him. Otherwise, Crosby was perfectly content to have his teammates do the fighting for him after he started things with childish shit.

Otherwise, Crosby was perfectly content to have his teammates do the fighting for him after he started things with childish shit. I seem to remember Timmonen coming over and Crosby and him starting something up. Then Giroux swooped in to protect Timmonen - not sure why - and then they started fighting. Looked to me like Crosby and Giroux were both talking a lot without doing anything. It took Crosby pushing a Flyer glove away - oh the horror! - before anyone felt like they had to start fighting. I have no problem with Neal's actions in this game - Coutourier hit him with a shoulder to the head at center ice, then someone got him knee-on-knee later. Not surprised at all that he was playing on or slightly over the edge as the game wound down. The Flyers actions as they paraded Neal over to the box were typical Flyers - if that scumbag Simmonds and douche Hartnell weren't on the ice to go after Neal, none of the circus antics take place. Adams hair pull was iffy at best - looked to me like he was reaching for his collar to pull him back and couldn't help getting a handful of hair. The Flyers had plenty of things in the game that deserve review - it was far from one-sided on that front (scoring, yes - cheap play, no). Overall, plenty of shit from both sides, but the worst pile was the Pens goaltending and defensive play. Why does Fluery have trampolines for leg pads? Juicy rebound after juicy rebound, all series long.

should we take up a collection to buy jeemie a high-definition tv so he doesn't constantly claim to have seen things differently from everyone else who watched the game, or should we just say fuck him and let him look dumb while he whines about things that make no sense? giroux forced crosby into that fight?

crosby was trying to get flyers to go all game. i lost count of how many times the camera was zoomed in on a post-whistle shoving match and you could clearly see crosby saying "let's go then, pussy" or something else similar trying to get a fight started. 90% of the time the "disciplined" flyers bitched out. and adams jumping in on hartnell at the end of the game's got nothing to do with crosby starting something and expecting his teammates to finish it. didn't seem like there was any expectation of rescue there at all.

I guess I'm kinda sick at hearing about Max Talbot and we should have signed him. What evidence did the Pens front office have that Max was going to ever be that same player who scored those goals in Detroit? Here is the evidence presented to them:
-After the Cup win he waits until a couple weeks before camp to have shoulder surgery which puts him out for nearly 60% of the season. I guess he didn't want the surgery to interfere with his partying -Against Montreal he does jack shit...his noted playoff performances are nowhere to be found -2011: He plays in 82 games and can only amass 8 whole fucking goals!! Then to boot our "checking line center" puts up a MINUS 3 on a team that had shit on lockdown and shifted to a more defensive style of play due to Sid/Geno injuries -Did anyone see him last year agains TB? Any energizing hits? How about a fight in Game 2 when the Pens were getting their asses handed to them at Consol? Yea I didn't notice him that series either and that went the maximum number of games.
So based upon Max's recent body of work, as Ray Shero would you have offered him a ridiculous contract at $2M or whatever number he got? If you say yes then I would questioin your ability as a GM. Max was fat and happy...."Supastahh" status got to his head and quit working hard. Then all that shit got taken away from him with a contract that was well below his asking price. He's busted his ass in Philly and if he would've put forth the same effort the past 2 seasons here he'd still be on the team And yea TK got some of Max's $$. Shero hit the panic switch because he wasn't sure if Geno would be back in time for camp and Sid's lingering issues left him with little secondary scoring at a budget price, and for an alleged 20 goal scorer that was fair market value at the time

Forgive me if I don't take the word of fans who think their team can do no wrong. "I didn't like him, that's why I shove his glove away. Waah Waah- we're losing, so let me be a big baby and do elementary school pranks". That was Sid almost the entire game. I'm sorry I expect more grown-up behavior out of my teams than you do.

Welcome the the NHL. It's all a bunch of men-children. From Hartnell crying about someone pulling his hair, to players over-reacting to someone pushing a piece of equipment away, to diving in an attempt to draw a penalty. It's all childish. I find it odd that the Flyers didn't throw down with Crosby after his multiple stabs at Bryz's glove, but they felt that the final straw was him pushing someone's glove 3 feet further away. They're all little kids and behave like they're on the playground. Every team and every player does it.

And I don't like it when they not only suck shit on the ice, but then act classless and thuggish while sucking. Win with grace, lose with dignity.
