http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Sus ... Draft.htmlQuote: Ingram stressed that while Rambo does not smoke marijuana, he tested positive for the drug after supposedly eating pot brownies with a group of friends by accident The story as I heard it the kid was at Panama City on spring break, woke up hungry so helped himself to some brownies he found in the kitchen. Too bad, kid has some serious talent and would've helped UGA repeat as SEC East champs. As it is I'm smart enough to know the Steelers won't select this kid in the supplemental draft but some team will be getting a helluva football player...so long as they keep him away from the baked goods.

Who really gives a fuck if a kid smokes pot? It's sure stopping every guy in the NBA from being an athletic freak. It's sure stopping virtually every musician and artist alive from being productive citizens. It's sure stopping whole generations of people from being, well, just like their parents.
Those of us who don't smoke pot are basically outliers now and it's pointless for us to lay that template on the current drop of kids. It'd be like criticizing and suspending and writing off a guy's career chances in 1970 because he had a couple of drinks. Stupid.

Quote: Who really gives a fuck if a kid smokes pot? The Pittsburgh Steelers do...and I'm guessing the kid's parents might be a little pissed but hey my daughter is only 7...months...I'm not there yet. Baby Drama-ette's got her own version of the munchies....so I'm just sleep walking my way through another 2:00 AM bottle of Similac..

Look, I'm not a pot smoker, first off, but why is this necessarily a red flag item? I mean, it is because it demonstrates lack of following the rules... But why is it a rule? I guess that's my question. Recreational drinking or pot is not some heinous offense. For instance, we're all hot on this board for drafting a guy who choking and threw to the ground his girlfriend, but we're marking a guy DND because he smoked pot or was near someone who did while on spring break? That blows my mind.

Being a football forum, if you were a blue chip prospect, would you say you'd have a better chance landing the job of your dreams if your were a recreational drinker or drug user? According to your answer, which one is worse in this instance?
