That's why it's a dream mock scenario......the Steelers aren't smart enough to do it.

This is almost my pipe dream draft. It nearly is, anyway... I'm just nit-picking.

I think Cole goes way earlier. I'm cool with Brown but I'll just throw Miles Burris to your Kourtnei Brown and we'll have to wait and see. I also wonder if Markus Kuhn will be an even better player than JR Sweezy... watch their tape and realize Sweezy way closer to his upside than Kuhn. If Cole is gone and I'm taking a hunch down here at the end of the draft, I need either a Punt Returner or a developmental guard/OT like, say, Nick Mondek. These players, along with Brandon Hardin, Rishard Johnson, Asa Jackson, B.J. Coleman, Myles Wade, Dale Moss, and DeQuan Menzie are pretty much my favorites in this draft.

Otherwise, and I don't say this lightly... I study every one of the mocks that every poster on this board has put up since back to Stillers.com... this is my absolute favorite Steelers Mock ever.

P.S.: I liked the sound of this dude... right up until I read the unnamed AFC North scout who said he ordered up all his game films and watched one play... a screen pass Carrier caught out in the flat... encountered an itty bitty CB and promptly ran out of bounds. The scout said he marked him DND after that.

As Kevin Colbert said... you have to do a lot of projection, but mostly what it boils down to is ability and toughness. if a guy at a lower level doesn't have exceptional toughness, he's got a long way to go.
