1. ILB Zach Brown. UNC questions remain on Hightower's coverage ability in today's NFL.
Tomlin and company fall in love with the speed and explosion of Brown ala Timmons.

2. LG Brandon Washington Miami. Improved his 40 time, starter day 1, can also be used as a reserve tackle.

3. NT Josh Chapman Alabama, strong as a bull, nickname is Hulk, NT for the best defense in the country.

4. RB Ronnie Hillman SDSU, super fast, explosive, home run threat every time he touches the ball, can also catch the football. Drafting him this year will make for a smoother transition next year when they can let Mendenhall walk.

5. FS Winston Guy Jr. Kentucky Perfect replacement for Clark in 2 years. Big, fast, can cover alot of range, outstanding tackler.

6. CB. T. Gipson. Wyoming , Big tall typical Steelers corner.

7. Tackle. D. Rose. North Alabama, started 11 games at left tackle for FSU, got caught up in the scandal and transferred. For a 7 th rounder, definately worth it.

7b. OLB R. Lewis. Bethune Cookman, won alot of awards, for a 7th round comp would be a steal.

2013
1. TE
2. T
3.S
4.OLB
5.G
6.WR
7.DE

He had 105 tackles,5.5 sacks, and 3 int's sounds like he can play a little football to me.

230, with 4.4 speed. Just throwing an idea out there.

brown weighed in at 244 at the combine. i think he's certainly an appropriate value at our slot, but our ILB need is more in the 'thumper' mold and Brown is more of a sideline-to-sideline chase and tackle guy:/

sorry cop, didn't mean to come across so critical, but it scares me because he is another Timmons in so many ways, including the not-so-good ways

No worries just thinking along the lInes of the Tomlin/Timmons pick and with the Steelers giving Timmons the big contract meaning they are happy with him, this could be a guy that Tomlin would be happy to get and could actually prefer to Hightower.

to see how quickly and eagerly they threw money at both Colon and Timmons worries me.

almost seems as though they are looking for confirmation that they made a good choice in both cases, so throwing money at them justifies it somehow.

timmons is impressive when

1. He doesn't have to think.
2. He doesn't have blockers in his way.

that, to me, is problematic. You can't run around blockers when the run is up the gut. Zach Brown is basically everything Timmons is, but moreso, in all ways, good and bad.

More explosive, faster, quicker

Avoids contact more, more problematic lack of instincts, more problematic avoidance of physicality

these guys get washed by TEs, and I'm not talkign about Alge Crupmler TEs either

Again I'm not advocating for Brown I 'm just thinking about what Tomlin might do.

If it would be between Brown and Osemele, I would go with Osemele.

let me guess, you were holding a martini in one hand and the back of your other wrist to your forehead

sounds liek a dramatic scene from a soap opera

Not even sure where to begin here. On behalf of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we issus a formal apology to you that can't field 22 all pro players
