If Adams is there at 24 I hope to God the Steelers are running to the podium. He will be an outstanding talent at either tackle position and besides the OT position drops significantly after Adams. I saw Mayock rate the next good prospect being Brown who is but 6'3 at 316. Another Colon type I guess. Adams is a 1st rounder IMO. I also agree that OG is deep this year and we could very well wait till the 3rd even 4th RD to land a potential 1st year starter. I like Senio Kelemente in the 4th. Perhaps OG Nix lasts to the 4th as well. So they could go OT in the 1st, ILB in the 2nd, NT in the 3rd and OG in the 4th.

I think just the opposite I don't think the Steelers consider a tackle until the 4th round.
It's obvious the LOVE Colon and the will go with their original plan when they drafted Gilbert and play him at LT.
Bergstrom in the 3rd would be a nice pick, he looked good at guard at the Senior Bowl and he would be a solid RT.

Bergstrom is more a guard to me @ 6'5 313 32" arms. I think you really can't pass Adams if hes there at 24. He can play either side and back up both sides as a rookie. Bergstrom can be had potentially in the 4th as you suggest. ILB and NT in 2nd and 3rd RD's would be a solid draft. FS in the 5th? Measurements: http://walterfootball.com/combine2012OL.php

The offensive line made themselves some money this morning. As a whole I was very impressed.

His unofficial 40 of 4.96 (1.76 10 yd) was impressive...a very smooth run especially for a 345 pound kid. On the flip side Mayock was criticizing OG Brandon Washington before he even ran said something to the effect, "here's a kid where I struggle to see why he came out. In watching tape, he looked like a fish out of water playing Left Tackle." Washington then proceeded to veer all over the track during his 40.

Mike Adams 19 on the Bench press and a 5.40 in the 40...
Never got it with him...People in Columbus have been disipointed in him. He is a weak underachiver that I do not want in Black & Gold we have enough of him already he is not elite...

You don't have to worry, it will be Poe or Hightower in the first it could have been Glenn but he won't be available.

If we're going to spend a first on Poe, he's going to be expected to be the anchor of the defense for years to come. I haven't seen any signficant film from him to demonstrate he can be that guy. Sure, he's big and very strong, has some nice mobility - but is he the relentless monster that forces all sorts of attention like Mean Joe and Casey did during their primes? I simply don't know. Not all that much info out there. That's why I see the Steelers going NT next season where the class is supposedly much deeper.

ok, now that Poe has weighed in and we find out that his stats are inflated, are people going to stop pining about him?
He's the same size as Ta'amu and never dominated, even once during his career. He also has stubby arms.
