Just having fun with the 'current state of affairs'.

Wallace walks for a 1st rounder

Casey Hampton
Larry Foote
Aaron Smith
Willie Colon
Will Allen
Chris Kemoeatu
Max Starks

are all cut, not renewed, not contacted..... GONE

Ward & Farrior are given their farewell tour. Cotchery is resigned.

I see 5 suitors for Wallace,

Carolina @ 1:9
Arizona @ 1:13
Jets @ 1:16
Bears @ 1:19
SF @ 1:30

Eliminate the Jets (AFC), & SF because they pick too late. Steelers make a deal with Steelers West.

Offerings @ 1:13 offense;
DeCastro OG Stan
Martin OT Stan
Floyd WR ND

Offerings @ 1:13 defense;
Still DL PennSt
Upshaw OLB Bama
Kuechly ILB BC
Kirkpatrick CB Bama

Offerings @ 1:24 offense
Konz C/OG Wisc
Adams OT OSU

Offerings @ 1:24 defense
Cox DL MissSt
Hightower LB Bama
Poe DL Mem

you should call it the........dismantle the entire team and set us back 10 years so we can rebuild mock........

I don't want to be Cleveland, I don't want my season to start in April and end in August. I don't want the draft to be my only win of the season

Max Starks already gone
Will Allen gone guaranteed (see Rolle)
Foote gone guaranteed (Farrior > Foote for 1 'stop gap/final tour' year)
Colon or Scott or Essex gone guaranteed
Smith might retire (they'll see how the draft plays out) most likely gone
Kemo many would like him gone (again, see how the draft plays out)

The only real question is Hampton.

The guy plays a limited number of snaps already, and he'll only be available for 2/3s of the season at best. Many would argue he'll never come back the same.

Gilbert (LT), Zeitler (LG), Pouncey (C), Foster (RG), Scott (RT)
Legs IOL, Turner ST

Ziggy & McLendon share duties over the nose. Heyward moves to LDE, with Keisel @ RDE.
You've got Bryant, Woods, then Baptiste & Wolfe to compete for a roster spot.
They'd probably keep 6 DL. Keisel, Ziggy, Heyward, McLendon, Bryant, Baptiste

I don't understand how that's dismantling the team. Gilbert is already expected to move to LT. Everyone expects a top notch OG to come in and compete for one of the OG spots.

Upshaw & Hightower would be upgrades over Carter, Foote, Ivy.

It comes down to letting go of Hampton. This offseason might be difficult for you.

Neither Willie Colon nor Aaron Smith have played in 2 seasons
Will Allen never played for us.
Chris Kemoeatu played for us, unfortunately.
Foote or Farrior, we can't keep both

Casey Hampton - $9 mill, 35 years old, will be unavailable for the season due to ACL surgery (and possibly his career)
Max Starks - isn't ours to begin with, we'd have to sign him to a new contract, and he also just had ACL surgery

Ward and Farrior are still here (farewell tour), only players who did nothing or can't do anything in 2012 anyway will be gone. So what's with the hysteria?
