Bylsma announced Letang will be playing tonight! Let's keep the roll going and get a win against a really strong club.

I said 2 months ago that I believe the Rags are the team to beat in the East and I still believe that to be true. Thankfully the Pens own Lundquist :)

Cookie finally getting some love from the media.

Quote:
Cooke has proven with his actions that it is possible for players to change their approach to the game to make the game safer. He is a shining example that thoughtfulness can actually win out over the heat-of-the-moment desire to absolutely destroy an opponent no matter the ramifications.

Watching on NHL Network up here. They showed some of the footage of Taylor Hall's injury and the after-effects. Brutal looking scar - guy basically jumped in the air to try to avoid him but landed right on his forehead and cut him wide open in practice.

Good looking game so far - some chippiness from the Rangers early on to try to get Malkin off his game but we weathered that storm and have played pretty well. Rupp's a pain in the ass to play against - I liked him much more when he was in the black and gold.

Jeffrey almost had one just before Malkin buried it with the backhand roofer.

Cannot believe that Jeffrey muffed that golden opportunity....

That being said there is no hockey player on the planet right now that is playing with the skill level of Geno

Neal and Malkin are absolutely unbelievable together. I expected Neal to have a big year, but I expected it to be alongside Sid. Watching him and Malkin mesh has been a true joy to watch.
