Bettis had one job and one job only in that situation, and it wasn't get in to the endzone. It was, protect the fucking football, anything else is gravy. He failed miserably! But fortunately for ole Bussy, other Steelers bailed him out. Ben made a miraculously lucky tackle, the defense despite giving up a couple of completions, stiffened and forced a potential game tying field goal attempt. And then ultimately, Vanderjagt choked worse than Bettis. Bettis most certainly screwed the pooch that day. Fortunately, the stars lined up, and the rest is history!

Your 'Hall of Famer' just needs to squeeze his giant choking ass 1 yard forward and the Steelers are headed for the AFC Championship game and a pretty unbelievable upset. He doesn't just get STONEWALLED, the fucking moron FUMBLES? Really? At the Colts' goal line? Right into the arms of a guy that would have most certainly scored had his wife not stabbed him the night before. Right into the arms of a (normally) fast DB and Ben comes up with the luckiest tackle in sports history. You cannot make this shit up and this guy doesn't believe Bettis' fumble was any big deal. SOME FUCKER HAD A HEART ATTACK WHEN IT HAPPENED. I think 90% of us (not IC of course, he's Cool Hand Luke and he knew we had it in the bag ) nearly fucking died when that fat fuck coughed up the ball. yep, it sucks we lost that game oh wait, we didn't. hey slappy, guess what else they overcame. THAT FUMBLE. You make excuses for everything not on your agenda. Then break your own rules about overcoming adversity to feed a false opinion you just exist to argue stupidity over the internet. Your a drama queen. see ya at Bettis HOF induction

You just love this fat fucker, no matter what he did and I respect that. As for his Hall of Fame induction, just be happy it won't take place in January. ....because you know fat Jerome would find some way to fuck it up.

Scary concept for some, I know Even though Bettis and Walter Payton did dick in the postseason, I still recognize them as top producing RB's of all time. And yes, **GASP**, both better than average speed Willie Parker.

Comparing Bettis, the ultimate big game choker, to Walter Payton, which you've done many times, shows....again, that you're out of ammo. Bettis played on consistently good to very good teams throughout his career. Dominant teams. Walter Payton had to play his first 10 years for terrible Bear teams (I watched Payton get murdered by the Steeler defense in the College All Star game in 1976 so I kinda remember when he entered the league) so while you have a knack for saying incredibly stupid and inaccurate things, comparing Bettis to Walter Payton is amongst the dumbest comments youre ever going to make. At least we can hope. Just enjoy that signed football, human vacuum!

Yet we don't compensate for that either. Yet you'll make excuses for Payton, who was a boyhood idol of yours keep grinding that axe sunshine. Its amusing how often you contradict yourself. You are the best form of free entertainment going right now

You are the best form of free entertainment going right now Parker didn't try and give away seasons in January and February, girlfriend. He made positive contributions. A Super Bowl record run is kinda a positive contribution. He didn't need to be some kind of "mascot" ala that fat fuck Bettis. Parker did something on the field. Parker wasn't coughing it up all over the place at the worst possible times, human vacuum. But hey, Bettis was king of the regular season. He tore up those Browns a shitload of times. Put him in the Hall of Fame for that.
