I really don't like giving up promising minor league position players ... we got so few of those in our farm system. But we'll see ...
I don't know who you take out of the rotation ... Correia has been pitching well and Bedard is just starting to get back into gear ... but maybe you let McDonald sit out a turn (that's what I do and try to get him back on track like they did Bedard) and then go to a 6-man rotation. It should keep our starters' arms fresh ...
Correja is gone -
I like the deal
I think the prospects we gave up are mid-range at best
And we got a quality durable LH. With the stros eating 12m looks like we got him for three years at average of 6m per - that's a great salary
And we have aces on the arm to come up next year and thereafter
If bedard can be decent this is a rotation that can compete
I am with zeabow that I think they should skip iMac a start and let correja go once more in his slot. Adding Wendy allows correja to do long relief and spot start which is a solid benefit and makes the while staff better
They must get a hitter now. And I changed my mind that I don't want victorini
They need someone to hit behind cutch and bring up matte
