As always, great stuff, Sham. Appreciate the work you've put into your previews all season long and the baseball season, as we all know, is a grind man. Particularly the past 6 weeks have been difficult, I realize.
I happened to be at the last two games, just last minute walk-up decisions. Seems I always go to a rain fucking delay game, but I didn't care, I want to see these guys as much as possible live before they go away. They're the only professional sports ticket I can really afford on a regular basis.
Was great to see both of our previous wins. I agree that Labor Day was a fucking fiasco, but we have rarely swept anyone this season. Key for the Cubs series is at least win it, and a sweep is gravy, but we have had our hands full with them recently, so not a total gimme.
I look for AJ to have a dominant performance on Friday night. I may go Friday too, not sure yet. As we get later in the season, tickets are a little easier to come by.
Damn though isn't it fricking great to be fighting for a playoff berth (1.5 games out) on September 6th? Damn straight.
