He was a good manager but i think he also benefited from managing stacked teams with high payrolls...Canseco and McGuire in Oak...McGuire, Edmonds, Rolen, Holliday in STL..
All star game is an honor and you pick the best Craplebon doesn't deserve the honor nor does hamels
But he's not the only manager that does this.
Picking an All-Star roster is tough...I don't envy any manager that has to do it.
