I know its only been two games since his return from the bereavement list, but does anyone else think that Hammer has looked sharper these past couple of games than he did before his time off? He was pushing 97-98 on the gun tonight!

Tip of the hat to Lincoln...real solid outing!

Way to pitch out of that jam, Grilli!

I'll tell you what. I wasn't overly impressed when Grilli came to us late last year. Just about everyone was sucking then though.

He's been more than solid so far this season.

Grilli actually threw well last year. He and Hanrahan were the only relievers that weren't falling apart those last two months. He was a nice find. The only good thing to come out of that August collapse. How stupid must the Phillies feel for letting him get away. The Phils pen has been in shambles this season.

Way to go Brad.

Thanks for justifying my taking you as a flyer in fantasy this week.

Too bad there's no room for you in the regular rotation when Bedard comes back. You are pitching lights out.

Actually, if I had my druthers, Lincoln would be in the rotation and Morton would be out.

Brad is certainly looking stellar of late. And doing anything asked of, and doing it well. Really nice to see how this young man has developed since his first year in the league.

Perhaps, but Correia's actually doing pretty well this year.

I have no faith Morton will ever be the man...still too high a WHIP for my liking.
