I'll give the Devils credit.
I didn't expect them to play this tough.
Now I'm rooting for the Kings to win it all and Philly to lose in the 2nd round!

Wow- I'm all about the Flyer hate but that seemed a little extreme. Beth didn't come on here rubbing our noses in it...sure most of us are hoping they lose but just wow...

I live in the Philly region- I am exposed to their fanbase all the time. Beth is an atypical Flyers' fan...most of them would not be as restrained as he is. This is one of those situations where the playing field's not level.
It's a PITTSBURGH Steelers site....
Beth has enough sense to know it's not cool to give us much shit about a PITTSBURGH hockey team, while it's perfectly legit for us to be as vile as we want about his PHILLY team.

Philly sports media makes me sick. These guys have been on a constant character assassination of Crosby since he entered the league yet all they do is whine, whine, whine. These guys always think the refs have it in for them . In their eyes the Flyers are never guilty of anything and every penalty is really a dive or an embellishment. The kangeroo media that is philly sports media obviously do it to placate their mouth breather fans. Here Phil Sheridan bitches and moans about Brodeur embellishing to get an interference call that waved off a Flyers goal. http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/fly ... odeur.html Just an FYI, these cry babies changed the the headline.
