Mick & Moose were polar opposites. Casy called Mick and the other party animals, Ford, Berra, Bauer & Martin the whiskey slicks. He called Moose, Kubek, Howard & others his milk drinkers. Back then guys like Mickey partied every night, banged ladies two at time and the media knew and said nothing. The shit those guys pulled would have gotten them banned for life in today's game. The group of 6 Yanks that got into a 3am brawl with a bunch of bowlers at Martin's birthday party in 57 was Mickey's core. Moose was home sleeping.

That's awesome...& the reason a pro athlete was able to turn the corner to a sports star. Man, I swear I was born in the wrong era. Wish i could've lived in simpler, more mind-your-fucking-own-buisness times.
