Signing him away from us made them stronger and us weaker -- great move by Philly. And then they snatched Jagr too. I loved Max, but he wasn't worth the $2.5M/year the Flyers gave him. Not with all the other guys we have money tied up in.

So sleeping on it gave me some perspective even though I'm still a bit raw this morning. If the Penguins hadn't lost every meaningful game played against Philly at the Consol (including, as Swiss mentioned, blowing all those mutli-goal leads), I'd be more hopeful. The Consol Curse MUST come to an end on Friday, or this series is gonna be real short. Jeemie, just curious, but what is your prediction on Armageddon? This coming December because of the Mayan calendar? Maybe earlier due to the impending Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities?

Richard Park offers more than TK right now.

Not with all the other guys we have money tied up in. Talbot turned around the playoff series against the Flyers a few years ago with his grit and determination -- that's exactly what this team LACKS it was worth the $2.5M to keep him -- the Flyers saw that, and signed him -- smart move Max also won game 7 of the stanley cup for us -- the guy is money in big games -- still shake my head over why we let him go and kept a bunch of other bench fodder instead

Richard Park offers more than TK right now. and the yinzers who wanted the pens to pay kennedy whatever he wanted after his one PP-inflated season will cry "TK doesn't suck!!! he had a goal!!!" ignoring the fact that he was also directly responsible for at least one goal against.

I've got him on the hook for the GWG. Check out near the 17:47 mark where the puck slides up the RW wall and the Flyer player keeps it in. TK is supposed to be near the hashes, yet gets easily beaten to the puck, the cycle commences and it gets thrown AGAIN to that wall...TK not in the area and that is the final sequence

Since he scored one of the Pens' goals, I think he sort of had to be on the ice for one of them.
