My sister was visiting some friends the other day. They walked over to the neighbors house and met TK. My sister didn't know who he was at first - he said he moved down to Pittsburgh from Canada and was an accountant. They all apparently tossed a football around and hung out for awhile eating and drinking.

She didn't know he played hockey until about an hour later!

I'm not sure TK knows that he plays hockey.

to be fair, hockey players on average probably rank just ahead of golfers and just behind baseball players on the instantly-recognizable-athlete spectrum.

On the same note I happened to be at Doc's (Now Mario's East) in Shadyside on Sunday evening enjoying the selection show and the fabulous weather when I happened to realize James Neal and Sid hanging out near the front door.

To call Sid unassuming from a physical standpoint and hard to distinguish in street clothes would be MORE than an understatement.

He did say that he was ready to bring home Lord Stanley's hardware for the second time.

Looked like he knew how to play tonight.
