About the only thing they did in this case that I didn't like is the failure to keep his ice time more limited to start.
Thankfully we have another guy on the roster who is a top 3 on the planet type. What did mario say when Malkin tried to elbow Claude Giroux the other night?...nothing, and now Sid has to sit due to his reoccurance? Can't believe he didn't get suspended for the attempt. So fucking pissed.

Damn. That beyond sucks. Oh well, pull together and let Sid heal and get right.

So fucking pissed. Since you brought it up...how about Rinaldos blatant elbow to Bortuzzo's head? Bortuzzo missed the next game, and might have concussion syndrome. Crosby even said today this set back is nowhere as bad as last year when concussed so severely he missed 61 games.

I didn't see that. If Rinaldo hit/tried....he should sit too.

Again everyone reacts differently to these hits. Sid could sit out the next 5 years and the next slight jar could put him where he is today. There is no tried and true protocol for these things ..

Quote: What did i say guys?? Should have waited until after late Jan at the earliest, if not playoff time if you're talking this year. the slightest jar will now set him in flux. I didn't see this response coming from Beth. Come on man, it could have happened even if they had waited until January. He was cleared to play and played. There was no telling what was going to happen until he stepped back on the ice. It sucks but, I don't think we see Sid the rest of the year. Sorry but I believe this to be serious shit.

Geno has never been a player who goes headhunting for no reason. And what's Mario supposed to do....throw his guy under the bus publicly? Shit I remember Bobby Clarke publicly supported Steve Downie and his actions through pretty much all of his cheap bullshit in a Flyers uniform. Flyers fans are the last people on Earth in a position to talk about cheap play....as your boys are still working off karma from the 70's.

I am being serious. Clarke was not the GM when we had downey, get your facts straight Captain. Downey was jettisoned after 1 season & a half. You have to go point at downey? He's been gone for a while. Geroux was leading the NHL in scoring and Geno is bonafide dirty.
