Are you kidding me? Craig Adams with goals in back to back games. I'd be interested if he plays the lottery because he is scorching right now. Couldn't happen to a more deserving player.
Kudos to the fourth line for bringing the firepower into play once again.

Not a bad game, the Pens woke up, answered the Carolina call and left the better with 2.

I thought Eric Staal was the best forward on the ice for the first period and a bit of the early second then he kind of disappeared, his MO this season so far.
Hopefully his kid bro just needed some stitch work and nothing else.

Despres was more comfortable and when on the ice with Crosby you could see him become more aggressive.

Don't look now but Malkin is a better defensive player then anytime earlier in his career. Its as though he is grasping defensive concepts and playing good position. Even sacrificing some offensive chances to make sure he isn't trapped and getting back to avoid odd numbers. Watch him for a few shifts and you can see the maturation. That said he isn't anywhere near a Selke candidate but he is making efforts and progress towards becoming better defensively.

Interesting game Monday against the Bruins. Real good test and it will be interesting to see this match-up.

That'll be a huge game.

In the 09 playoff run, Geno at times was the best defensive player for the Pens. He can be whatever he wants to be in this league.
