Why? Would LOVE to have Castro but i would hate to see what they would want in return for him rumor said two "impact prospects"

Considering the Pirates have 10 fucking million tied up on Barmes, i couldn't see them doing this. Plus i don't think they're in a position to lose players like Marte etc etc. Castro is only 22 yrs old though....

Steel Pro: I don't understand why you're being so defensive about Trumbo. Is it because you like your Morneau and his 15.5 mil a year salary idea better? I was just making conversation by bringing up Trumbo's name as a player (or a player like him) that i'd like to see the Pirates try and pursue IF they were available without draining the farm system. But go on with yourself - you obviously know everything and have all the answers

I'm not being defensive. I'm just telling you that Trumbo isn't blocked and isn't available. I can't evinsion any plausible trade scenario for Trumbo. Morneau however is being shopped by the Twins and could reasonably be had.

Just look at the Pence trade, it was all prospects. That is true - its a damn tough situation to be in for NH. Going to be fun to watch though. OT question for you Suwanee. Are you a father? If so, I'll bet you're a damn good one because you have the patience of a saint. Remeber Jack - I walked away for about 6 years and never saw a game or even watched the highlights - its tough to get out of your blood.

I said i'd like to see the Bucs try and make a deal for a player LIKETrumbo IFa player like this were available. Morneau is making 14 mil this season and is due another 14 mil. next. How in the hell is that considered he can be had for a reasonable price? I seriously doubt the Twins would be picking up any of that salary like the Yankees did with Burnett. Plus, is he really worth it for that sort of money? 3-4 years ago yes. Now? I dont think so.

I would trade 2 impact prospects for Castro in a NY Minute! As long as the Cubs take Barmes too as part of the deal.
How often do you find 22 year old starting short stops who can hit .300?

When you can think of another player like Trumbo, that means they play everyday, has an OPS over .900 and hasn't even made it to his arbitration years yet I will guarantee you they won't be available either.
