Reports that he is going to be fired tonight.

Stupid. Who cares about girlfriend on the side other than family?

Bet Wilson wish he went pro, could have been the #3 QB selected.

Some quotes:
Quote:
"In short, coach Petrino engaged in a pattern of misleading and manipulative behavior designed to deceive me and members of the athletic staff both before and after the motorcycle accident. He used athletic department funds to hire for his staff a person with whom he had had an inappropriate relationship. He engaged in reckless and unacceptable behavior that put his relationship in the national spotlight."

Quote:
Long, who took several emotional pauses while talking about the effect the incident and Petrino's firing had on the football team, read an 8-minute statement where he discussed how he felt duped by Petrino. Long did not know about Petrino's relationship with Dorrell prior to last Thursday when he placed Petrino on administrative leave. He especially felt misled when Petrino picked Dorrell to serve as his student-athlete development coordinator out of 159 applicants and Long signed off on the hire.

While Petrino was fighting for his job, he also disclosed that he had given Dorrell $20,000 prior to hiring her. Another thing he failed to mention to his boss.

"Coach Petrino knowingly misled the athletics department and the circumstances related to his accident," Long said. "He had multiple opportunities over a four-day period to be forthcoming with me. He chose not to. He treated the news media and the general public in a similar manner.

"Coach Petrino's relationship with Miss Dorrell gave her an unfair and undisclosed advantage for a position on coach Petrino's football staff."

He got fired for lying to the admin, using his power to get his mistress a job, and in general being a dickhead. Otherwise I agree, nobody should care about his girlfriend but his wife.

Who are you agreeing with? Deebo wrote "family" not "wife."

I work with this asshole's brother-in-law and nephew. I can assure you that they care as does the rest of BP's family--both parents still alive, brother Paul just ret. to Ark as OC, etc.

BP is just a major league fuckwit who CONTINUES to lie. He claims he is working on reparing his family but his wife moved out on Monday and he has not been in contact with his folks since the accident.

BP is now living in his mansion w/ his gangster son Nick. Could be a reality show - FATHER KNOWS WORST: A SEASON IN HELL. Nick played QB here at my school for a year and while he passed for close to 3000 yards in 10 games he too proved to be a major asshole, kicked off the team by his uncle (HC) and cousin (OC) for a variety of infractions. BP blamed Nick's hooliganism on them. Typical.

. BP's dad Bob Petrino Sr. won 15 Frontier Conf. championships in a row while coaching Carroll College (NAIA). Aside from Paul Petrino there are three other former BP Sr. players coaching at Arkansas. BP Sr. retired before making a national splash, but he had laid the foundation at Carroll for them to win six national championships in eight years.

If you have the you have the urge to denigrate the achievment because it's only NAIA, please check yourself. A handful of NAIA guys are playing in the NFL and you are not.

Also, join me in prayer that the nude photos of BP don't make it to the innernets. My eyes! My eyes!

He's amazingly consistent if nothing else.

Fucking the help, is, in the parlance of my father... Shitting where you eat.

And getting your ass fired is why you don't do it.

It's called "Common Sense at Work 101", and there should be a course in it at college that people are required to take.
