Why the hell would the Bengals take Glenn over DeCastro? Decastro is hands down the best OG in this draft...

I think the bungles would take Glenn over DeCastro due to position flexability. They have needs at Guard as well as RT with Andre Smith being a disapointment so far.

While I like what I have seen From McClellin, I dont think OLB is as pressing an issue as IOL. and while I belive DeCastro is a top 10-15 talent in this draft the positional value should have him drop to some where around 20-25, but as we've seen in the last handful of drafts IOL has been getting more resect and a higher draft value. So there is a good chance that he will be off the board when we come to pick.

I'm thinking mc clellin is the 2nd best ILB fit for the Steelers in this draft.

So you've got it Glenn>Mcclellin>Decastro? You'll have to explain yourself on that one!

I don't see Glenn or Reiff going before DeCastro... Just on a talent + production basis that's probably not happening.

His actual draft position may not reflect this, but I think Cal's Marvin Jones is probably either the best WR or 2nd best WR in the draft (after Blackmon)... He's a shit-ton better than Floyd. Which makes me think maybe Floyd is in the wrong spot on that board.

Cleveland Browns burning the 4th pick in the draft on Trent Richardson is also a head-scratcher for me... But then again, that what's makes them "special".

Perch: a Steelers board... Yes. Mc clellin with Hightower and kuechly gone would be the last special player who could be a fit at ILB.

Glenn might be able to play some LT for you... DeCastro is, I'm pretty sure A RIGHT SIDE PLAYER. So, even though I'm sure he's a great player... In this super deep OG class... Yes, he's behind Barron Hightower and mcclellin on my board.

Decastro is the most nimble and athletic guard in this class. His pass blocking is superb, he can pull as well as anyone, and is the best o-linemen in the draft at the second level. Why can't he be a Pro Bowl LG?

He could be. Which ILB and left side OL do you end up with in the rest of the draft? I mean, that's the context. Because, if they get an all pro LG that's great in the long run... Does it help the run D? Not that much.

You're absolutely right in a pure BPA situation... Do you not account for depth of the class at a position when you're debating between excellent players?
