I keep wondering if Holmgren won't see Flynn as his new Hasselbeck.

Cleveland could land a nice haul if they'd sign Flynn (assuming he works out), then land a couple guys at 1.4 and 1.22 like Trent Richardson and a pass rusher. Or Mo Claiborne and a WR. I kind of thought Kendall Wright would've been in play at 1.22 until his 4.6 forty
We all know STL wants out of that pick. But I think they'd be equally happy standing pat and taking Matt Kalil. They have real OT problems. Roger Saffold tore a pectoral muscle in season lifting weights and Jason Smith from Baylor has missed 29/48 career gamesdue to concussion

RG3 looks pretty damn special, but if I'm the Browns I go after Flynn. The Brownies can do some serious damage in this draft with 3 of the top 40 picks. They need a #1 WR in the worst way. To me it makes sense to stay at #4 and take Blackmon. All of the very early reports suggest they would have to give up their first 3 picks and a late rounder just to move to #2. Seems like too much to me. I understand Flynn is still an unknown, but I would rather chance it with him and build the rest of team rather than bank on one player.

plus, I'm not entirely sold that RGIII is the real deal
I think Mayock has some merit by saying he doesn't throw with anticipation. And when you look for that, he also doesn't throw into many windows. And he throws a lot of jump balls, and waits for WR's to run open
One things for damned certain, he's no Andrew Luck

Quote: IMO kind of what Ben does... yeah, I can see that another guy I really trust, Greg Cosell, exceptionally smart dude........ says RGIII will become an elite QB Cosell is a film guru Quote: Greg Cosell on RG3: "I saw a # of plays where the pocket collapsed, and he stood & threw the football. That's what u have to do in the NFL." Quote: More Cosell on RG3: "He will not become an elite QB because of the way he can run. It's going to be because of the way he can throw it."

They can get Kalil at 1.3 or Martin a little lower. Why would they stand pat?
