they must have stopped the clock when his belly crossed the finish line... probably saved him a good tenth of a second at least.

I'm a fan. Anyone with his size, ball skills, and incredible hands is going to have value in the NFL. Put him in the right situation and he could be a big time player IMO.

If Stephen Hill is a 1st rounder, what does it make Jeffery?

if the steelers take him in the first, i won't mind
he dominated SEC CBs. I think Tomlin's a guy who will keep his head in the game
6'3, soft, squishy, sticky hands, the ability to shield out defenders from the throw, and the incredible ability to go up for a contested ball and come down for it time after time after time after time
that one pick can improve our red zone efficiency 2-fold or 3-fold

Weidl's time is unofficial, and he later reported talking to NFL scouts who had Jeffery clocked in the 4.4 to 4.5 range Through all the previous hate I sat and refused to post. The kid is a stud...I almost drafted him instead of Randle in the board mock. Weidl later corrected his error and reported the actual time was closer to 4.50, which was more in line with what others were saying. First run was in the 4.50's and the 2nd run was as low as 4.47. Personally, I would have had him carry two gallons of milk when he ran his 40's to see how fast he is at his 230+ lb playing weight.

If we traded down and got an extra 2nd rounder, I would be all in favor of taking him. This guy is a matchup NIGHTMARE in the red zone. He can pluck and has GREAT hands. Jefferey knows how to box out and high point the football with ease. His only issue right now is separation. Now, that can be a killer at the pro level, but Boldin has been doing it for years.
