If they cut Ward,Kemo,Farrior,A. Smith,W. Allen,Dixon,Batch,M.Moore,McFadden,Starks,Hoke

Could they NOT sign MLB Grant from SF, or a guard???? Seems like 11 salaries could equal 1 salary?????

That would free up the draft.

Wish it was that easy cop. I believe they're bout $20MM over the cap so all those players you just posted would prolly get them pretty close to even with barely room to sign draft picks. I'm no capologist but that's what I've been reading. Throw in some restructured contracts like from Ben, Timmons, Hampton [if he's back] and Colon [if he's back] and others to re-sign Wallace, Lewis, Mundy, Redman, McLendon, Kapinos and Foster perhaps?

$29 million for willie fuckin colon to play part of one game this past year. :x

that fat fuck better be an all-pro for the remainder of that idiotic contract or he might be the worst re-signing of colbert's career.

Perhaps he's injured himself right out of a starting job and they release him or try to get something for him.

That's a long list of players.

Right now there are several FA's I am interested in. I believe that could be significant contributors if the Steelers were capable of signing them. I realize there is little to no chance any FA's outside the current team FA's are signed but here we go for discussion purposes.

Drew Stanton (DET) - QB
Derek Anderson (CAR) - QB

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (NE) - RB
Michael Bush (OAK) - RB
Derrick Ward (HOU) - RB

Plaxico Burress (NYJ) - WR
Patrick Crayton (SD) - WR
Ted Ginn (SF) - WR

Andre Gurode (BAL) - OC
Ben Grubbs (BAL) - OG
Derrick Dockery (DAL) - OG
Chilo Rachal (SF) - OG
Oniel Cousins (CLE) - OT
King Dunlap (PHI) - OT

Gerard Warren (NE) - DT
Mike Wright (NE) - DT
Brodrick Bunkley (DEN) - DT
Paul Soliai (MIA) - NT

Brandon Meriweather (CHI) - S
Deon Grant (NYG) - S
