Last week, it was "Skippy was money." Skippy has built up plenty of goodwill over the years ON THE FIELD so to have one bad game is forgivable. Steelers won't be undefeated this year. So fucking what?

I love Jeff Reed. He has been great in his tenure here. How many clutch kicks has me made over the years. How many bad games has he had? He had one today no doubt- Ben's will go down as one of the best QBs to ever play this game- he's had a few bad games. Almost everybody does at some point. If this pattern continues I will become less forgivig of Reed but I'm not ready to throw him under the bus for one bad game. We should have put at least 28 points on the board.

I remember Vinatieri once fucked up a chip-shot FG on a nice, dry field in Houston in Super Bowl XXXVIII. He's not infallible. He's missed FGs in his career.

Hines got a mulligan last week because he was Hines, and Hines has been mostly money.
Reed gets a mulligan this week because he has been mostly money.
If it becomes a trend though...

Yea, but that one bad game is the kind of thing that seperates Vanderjact from Vinitierri. has Reed come through mire often than not? 9 times out of ten? I am definately not excusing him. However the thread is way over the top with the Reed hate. He has made a lot of kicks in the 2005 & 2008 seasons that led to SBs. Let's wait for a trend to develop before worrying bout Reed. I will be first in line if it continues. Line I said, we should have beaten this team by 17.

Reed has been consistent pretty mucht throughout. I am dissapointed to be told he missed 2 FG's as I missed the second half in an airplane.
Looks like we're giving up too many yards. I hope to see the second half somehow on tape and then make my assessments.
