Good for him. He's 100% right. And more than anything I hope he doesn't backtrack tomorrow and apologize for saying it or to "clarify". No clarification is needed nor warranted.

Eric Winston can cry me a fucking river. You say you know what you signed up for, then get all butt hurt when you ACTUALLY get what you signed up for. Those passionate fans are the ones paying your salary. You don't wanna be a gladiator? Then go flip burgers you fuck. At least there they'll care if you burn yourself on the grill or knick a finger at the lettuce station.
I don't root for injuries, I root for pain. The kind of pain that every single player in the league is trying to inflict, so don't fucking judge me for supporting it. The kind of pain that says, "thats right Mother fucker, put your big boy pads on or get off my field".

Winston's talking about cheering when your own player, on the team you're there to root for, is lying on the field injured. Again....like Steeler fans once did when Bradshaw was lying injured on the Three Rivers Stadium turf, cheering an injury......to a player that is trying to help the home team win. You support that?

Rooting for injuries to another player on another team is close enough to the line.
Rooting for players on your own team to get hurt sucks. Even Willie Colon.
