Krafty wants NFL franchise in London. He just loves promoting Goodell's agenda! BSPN is just awful, like the FOX News of the sports world IMO. Quote: "I personally think we should have a franchise in London and that is something I am going to push for," Kraft said, according to SkySports.com. "I think I said that the last time we were over here in 2009 and before this next decade is out, I hope we have a team here. I think that would be right for the NFL and this fan base has proven they deserve it." http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/8106794/robert-kraft-new-england-patriots-likes-idea-nfl-franchise-london

I love how these arrogant pricks equate growing thier business with "growing the game".

8 hours
There is an 8 hour time difference between the West Coast and London.
Do people even consider how much of a logistical nightmare it will be for teams like San Diego, San Fran, or Seattle to travel halfway around the world for a game?

They are gonna put one team on another continent? Wasn't NFL Europe a failure?
Maybe they should put a team in Cleveland? Oh wait..... [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUYMO_JuSmI&list=UU5PdR3qqNR0O8D4eDKs40VA&index=1&feature=plcp]

I agree with Donnie Braso. I hope Krafty is made to move his team over the pond to be with the founding fathers.....lol that would be a hoot. Like the same pleading request Rooney adhered to switching to the AFC.

I bet a team in Europe would have a better following than Jacksonville. Short of having a full up division overseas, I'm not sure how a 17 game season under the current rotation would work out. As somone said above, it would be a logistical nightmare.

Given the historical significance and irony, it would be pretty funny for the first NFL team in Europe to be the Patriots.

Relative to what measure does Kraft or anyone else see this as anything but doomed to fail? Europeans, the Irish and UK folks do not care for nor give a shit about American football.
