Ok. I'll take a shot. Locks: Brady and P. Manning (agreed) High Probability: E Manning, Brees Decent Shot: Big Ben Outside Shot: Rivers, Rodgers (agree, another ring helps him a ton) Snowball's chance in hell: Flacco, Palmer, Tebow

He has a point though, there is a crazy amount of all timers active right now. I don't know if there's ever been this many HOF possible QB's in the league at one time??? (maybe one of the elders can chime in )

In the early 90's you had Elway, Favre, Young, Aikman and Montana. Warren Moon, not sure if he'll get in. Oh, and Jim Kelly. Almost forgot Marino.
Call that 7.5 future HOF QB's active and starting for a few years in the 90's.

And I think Brees is a lock. Rodgers just needs a few more MVP-type years to be a lock. The media/voters ultimately place more importance on stats than winning, unless you were Tom Brady, but then he got the stats so everyone could breathe easier.

By my count, with the guys you've listed...that's 6. I think they're pretty much locked in with a few more years...That's not mentioning guys that are active who have serious potential. Stafford might never get a ring, but he's shown he can put up the numbers...Newton is a machine. To be clear, I'm not saying the younguns are HOF bound...just that they've been pretty fucking good while being young. They're active at the same time, as the ones you've mentioned.
That said, the criteria has to get stiffer with the voting in of QB's & WR's. The rule changes make it easy to break records these days. I think you need 2 rings, or are completely unstoppable. Again though, the rules make it hard to be stoppable, unless you're accuracy sucks.
P. Manning E. Manning Ben Rodgers Brees Brady

Now has nothing on the 1970s. At one time the league saw Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Broadway Joe Namath, Lenny Dawson, Francis Tarkenton, Johnny Unitas, George Blanda, Sonny Jurgensen, Bob Griese. And I may have left someone out.
