Either way he is way wide across the shoulders.

Genuinely curious... are you saying that is a good thing or a bad thing?

Thanks FC. Was my thoughts as well but I'm not as well versed as some here. I'm sure it is only my perception, but It just seemed to be worded to be a negative, and I genuinely wanted to know why, if so.

Actually, I think I'm most surprised at how long his arms are for a guy his size/shape. I actually read scout.com articles about how his arms were short and he was better suited at nose.

I realize an attempt at humor here but since when has Hood had a rep for being a glutton?

Obviously Hood's in great shape, the best shape of his career, and by now he knows his way around LeBeau's system. This is the year we see what kind of benefits the Steelers can reap on their 2009 first rounder.

Yeah we'll see. What's the point of being so big and strong if you're only allowed to play pattycake with opposing OL?

B/c if you move and occupy an OL mofo, a LB or rushing S is going to pancake the QB. At least that's the idea. And you ain't movin' and occupying a hulk of an OL guy if you're a flabby, fat, p***y. At least this is my non-expert fan perspective. Experts please correct me if I'm wrong.
