I've got 12-4 and AFC North Champs. I do think they will start off on the wrong foot and lose to Peyton and the Broncos to start off the season. Just a hunch. Would love to be wrong. They will also lose the following:

@ Giants
@ Bengals
@ Ravens

I'm looking at 12-4 with the Ravens losing 2 super bowls and the Steelers winning THE Super Bowl.

My offseason record prediction is they will be 0-0 in the offseason.

They are well coached and I do not think they will struggle early
I am excited or the O and the youth coming in slowly
My main concerns are Harrison not returning lot form and wood starting slow
And sanders health as I think next time he goes down for any significant time could be his last with us.
Foote starting always concerns me ;)

Three orders of the day

Pressuring the qb
Actually creating a few turn overs
And how fast Haley+ben+new OL can kick some ass

I think they are 12-4 and the only thing between them and a SB s our Pass D

The struggle early theme may come to fruition but I believe a healthy Deebo & Woodley combo will go a long way to mitigating september struggles.

Same thing I predict every year.......19-0

I know that's tongue in cheek, but let's look at the bigger picture for a moment...

Somebody has to do it before that crotchety old fuckhead Shula kicks off, and he's looking pretty rough these days...

What better franchise to finally do it than the Pittsburgh Steelers - and no, not just because I'm a fan writing this on a Steelers message board. ;)

It's the perfect storm a-brewin' in Steeltown, and I really have a special feeling about this year...

Ben's not as stupid as he appears...he's bought in completely to Haley's system and he's having a ball getting his off-season jollies just fucking with the media (and us!).
Since his major hurdle has been removed, and he'll have a much improved OL in front of him, this is FINALLY the year.
Next March, his name will be heard in the mix of all the talking-head conversations about GOAT QBs.
And Mrs. 7 and a little more maturity will keep him grounded so he doesn't fuck up next offseason...

With the offense stepping into the elite zone, there's absolutely no reason that our defense can't improve statistically over last year.
Hell, there's no chance of them improving their rank of #1...

Also, people keep saying "barring injury..." but even our backups could bring something special.
Case in point: If Sanders has his customary half-season hiatus due to injury, I fully expect Cotchery to step in and at least take up the slack quite nicely...

Hampton...McClendon...Ta'amu...another good example of a lot of potential depth at a position of concern going into the off-season...

So HELL YEAH! I'm witchu...19-0

...with everything I'm layin' on the line by posting this, I have no problem being so bold... :P

-The Steelers talent on offense will take over. Sanders will be 100% healthy for the 1st time since his rookie season...AB and Wallace will continue to blow things up...Both could take the next step to elite status with maturity and understanding of the game. The offensive line will struggle early...By week 12 they will have found there grove and they will be a dominant unit...This group will compare to the 92-93 Oline. Championships are won with Johnny and Joes not X's and O's...Haley will breathe new life into the offense...Sometimes Change is good...Talent will be the main difference.

I like it.

I got what I wished for in the draft with OL first 2 rounds. It's going to be fun to see what happens with the OL and the offense.
