Per multiple sources (tweets from Bouchette, Kaboly, Brown). Slimy Pebbles CB Andre Freeman signed in his place.

Huh. I had the sense that Turner had a shot at the 53 this year.

If he couldn't break in with what we had last year, ain' no way he'd get in now.

Best of luck to him in AZ, or McD, or wherever dafuq he go...

Perhaps they know of this kid since he's a home grown player. Went to Penn Hills High School. Home town listed as Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Played for Hofstra before attending the Rock.

Im actually kind of shocked Turner made it this long

I hear he's as athletic as any OL on the roster. Wonder what it could be? Surely it can't be mental, football isn't a cognitive game

I think the Steelers may have done him a favor.

I commented last night I thought Turner was a player to watch for.

Gilbert and Adams are the Steelers long term solutions at tackle.

Essex can play all 5 positions

Scott has 3 years under Kugler...He can play both RT and LT

Turner had little to no chance of making the team...The Steelers also thought more of Kyle Jolly since they brought him in Thursday

I thought Turner had a ton of ability...IC may be right...He could be a fucking plug.
