Been to a lot of games, but there are some special ones that stick out:
2003 vs. STL, 1000th Steeler game. All the greats were there for a half time show. Steelers lost, but it was a great experience being at that game. We had 4th row seats right behind the Steelers bench.
2005 vs. Chicago. Awesome experience, probably my favorite game I've ever been to. Had end zone seats and got a great look at Bettis bowling over Urlacher on his way into the end zone. I now have a framed picture of it signed by The Bus. Snow was so bad at one point we couldn't see the whole field. We didn't know at the time that game would start the run to XL, but now that I have that knowledge it makes that memory even more special.
2005 vs. Detroit. Nothing really remarkable about the game itself, just that it was Bettis' last game, everyone knew it, and the cheers for him were deafening. Whole lot of "One more year!" chants.
2007 vs. Baltimore. This was an awesome game. Best view of the field I've ever had, and we beat the shit out of the Ravens. Bonus was that the game was two days after my birthday and was essentially a birthday present from my wife. I loved every minute of it. First Monday night game I ever went to as well. James Harrison was a monster that night, I don't know how McNair left the game with a pulse. Also, 75th Anniversary game, got to see a lot of the old greats at half time.
2008 vs. Washington. Game was on my birthday, Monday night game which is always fun, and at the end of the game seeing the whole place get taken over by Steelers fans was amazing. It *almost* felt like being in Pittsburgh. My best friend is a Skins fan and we had a bumper sticker bet on the game. While tailgating in the parking lot, we made a side bet that Campbell would throw his first interception that season against us. Loser had to sing the winner's fight song the whole way out to the parking lot. I won both bets.
2008 vs. SD. First and only playoff game, great experience, we had a whole crew from RVA drive up for this and we all got seats together. We had a big tailgate out in the parking lot and watched the Steelers bury SD on the way to winning another Super Bowl.
