This may be in a post buried on this site. I haven't taken the time to ever familiarize myself with how the new CBA affects our cap, but does our cap position improve at all in 2013 to lock up guys like Wallace and AB?

AB is not a concern this year. We are always over the cap anyway. How it's managed throughout the year is not a clear outline anywhere, it's now the Goodell NFL, anything goes...
askthecommish.com is usually a good source but now they seem to be a year outdated, (actually down now) and other sources are sort of dry with real info. it's a crap shoot for teams that play close to the cap, and penalties usually take a whole year to figure out for violations of the cap, which should tell you something right there.

Impossible question to answer since the cap number for 2013 is completely unknown.

My understanding is the cap number is usually officially released a few weeks to a month before FA starts, but was delayed this year due to the new CBA (I think)...or at least that's what I thought I remembered someone (maybe Pat Kirwin) saying.
