I love Brown too. I hear his work ethic is second to none. It's clear this guy is hungry and wants to be the best. However, am I the only one that is a bit worried about our star receiver biking through Pittsburgh traffic...especially with those old ladies on the road?

Brown is awesome. He should wear a helmet though. Although that river route looks pretty safe.

Looks like he lives in the apartment complex in the Southside on 26th and Sidney Streets (I can never remember the name of it). Not that surprising since half his teammates live there (with most of the other half living in the Cork Factory).
If that is where he lives, he has almost direct access to a bike trail that'll take him to the Southside training complex.
ie, really no reason for a helmet.

He's working the "glad to be here" angle to perfection. For all the stuff you hear about other people wanting to be "the best"- its good to see a guy working hard and being known for his work ethic. Last year Brown got by with talent and a little knowledge- this year I want to see how he's going to play when his knowledge allows him to warrant more than single coverage- could be a great year. Then the Bipolarus Steelerfanicus will kick afterwards.

ie, really no reason for a helmet. I like this kid too...and C4L the smallest stone could flip that bike in an instant and we would want the helmet cracked...not his head. A helmet is always a smart decision. Take it from someone who used to ride a lot and has seen how quickly a head can meet pavement.

He's a special kid, someday the world will see it in the SB. Mark it down.

What was he again, a 5th round pick?
Colbert misses at times. They all do. He's more than made up for it by landing guys like Brown.

Oh no, it's always the first sign of trouble when they insist on riding without a helmet...

You have better peripheral vision without a helmet on bicycling. If you get hit on a bicycle do you think the head is going to get bashed in or the legs first? It's a drill of awareness of what's around you. Only stupid people get hit by cars on bicycles.
