Just like High School Days! http://twitter.com/#!/R0bG0ldenClearly he needs to be taught that the color is gold. i'm more upset that he left the 'h' off of 'pittsburg' than i am that he referenced a popular rap song that featured lamarr woodley and a ton of terrible towels in the music video. Good point. What does he think this is, Kansas?

Desmond Stapleton is younger brother of Darnell Stapleton, the Steelers' RG when they won the Super Bowl in 2008.

Brandon Lindsey
Height: 6015 Weight: 254 40 Yrd Dash: 4.74 20 Yrd Dash: 2.83 10 Yrd Dash: 1.62 Bench Reps: 24 Vertical Jump: 32 1/2 Broad Jump: 09'10' 20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.41 3-Cone Drill: 7.20
Athletic prospect coming off a disappointing senior season. Fluid moving around the field, easily changes direction and makes a lot of athletic plays in space. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself, chases the action laterally and covers a good amount of area on the field. Gets adequate depth on pass drops and rarely gets knocked off his feet. Quick off the snap out of a three-point stance and displays an array of pass rushing moves.
Negatives: Marginally instinctive and shows a lot of indecision on the field. Easily controlled at the point of attack by a single blocker. Adequate closing burst.
Analysis: Lindsey was highly rated coming into the season yet did not perform up to the expectations. He did improve as the season progressed and offers pass rushing skills for the next level yet may struggle to enter a starting lineup.

K Grant Ressel is from MIzzou. Very good under 40 yards, accurate. Struggled from 40+.

Desmond Stapleton
Height: 6053 Weight: 302 40 Yrd Dash: 5.49 20 Yrd Dash: 3.15 10 Yrd Dash: 1.83 Bench Reps: 20 Vertical Jump: 25 1/2 Broad Jump: 08'04" 20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.90 3-Cone Drill: 7.75
A tall, lean offensive tackle prospect who has decent girth through his mid-section and base, but looks thin in the arms and legs. Possesses decent flexibility when asked to sit into a two-point stance off the ball as a pass blocker, however, in obvious pass situations sits upright, he doesn't stay compact with his footwork and pops upright initially off the ball. Exhibits very average range to the corner, looks tight in the hips and doesn't re-direct with much fluidity/quickness. Is patient into contact, keeps his hands up and elbows in, and extends his arms well. However, he isn't real compact/powerful on his punch and lacks the strength to hold off defenders/anchor routinely on contact. Is easy to slip on contact and will be vulnerable vs. the bull rush as well.
Can coil up decently into his stance off the football, but he uncoils at the waist and will drop his head into contact when trying to create a push. He exhibits an average first step and has the coordination to step and seal, and take proper angles off the football. However, he struggles with balance through the play, doesn't create much of a push and slips off blocks quickly. Demonstrates a solid first step when asked to get out to the second level and good range when pulling from the backside, but he just doesn't create a ton of pop on contact.
Impression: Possesses a thin frame, lacks power when asked to anchor/stick to blocks and isn't fluid enough to mirror consistently with NFL caliber defensive ends.

Terry Carter
Height: 5102 Weight: 184 40 Yrd Dash: 4.57 20 Yrd Dash: 2.74 10 Yrd Dash: 1.64 Bench Reps: 12 Vertical Jump: 31 1/2 Broad Jump: 10'00" 20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.20 3-Cone Drill: 6.89
2011 ALL-WAC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): DB-Terry Carter, Louisiana Tech, Sr., has been selected All-WAC Conference First Team for the 2011 college football season as voted upon by the WAC's eight head coaches. Carter recorded his own interception for a touchdown while forcing a fumble. Carter ended the season with 60 tackles and led Tech with 10 pass break-ups. - Louisiana Tech football
I was excited to see Carter in this game but he was very rarely challenged while I was watching. He’s not very highly rated but at 5’11″, 190 pounds he has solid corner size. I wasn’t able to judge his tackling in this game, but he did have 59 total tackles (41 solo) on the year as well as 2.5 TFL, 11 pass break-ups, 1 forced fumble and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. I don’t have a listed 40 yard dash time for him and I didn’t see much of him against TCU, but he had solid coverage the few times I was able to see him. I would be surprised if he was picked earlier than the 5th round right now due to the sheer lack of information on him, but he strikes me as a guy that could be a bit better than most people think.
