This is exactly what I was thinking after round 1. After round 2 I thought - wow, talk about Art puttin' his m money where his mouth is. Hopefully the O-line picks will pan out but regardless, you have to give the team credit for finally attempting to deal with the group in front of Ben.

Everytime I imagine what Ben could do with a potentially great line, I need to check out the Kate Upton thread. At the very least, it's going to be a breath of fresh air not having to count to 2 seconds before I scream, "GET RID OF IT!" at the TV.
With Haley & a good OL, the O can be finally be the force we've all been saying it has the potential to be for the past 4-5 years or so. My question is, do they plug & play 2 rookies & let them grow into their eventual positions, or sit Adams for a year? I think Colbert referred to Decastro as one of the few plug & play ready guys in this draft, so I expect to see him start week 1. On top of that, do they continue with the plan of moving Gilbert to LT, or keep him on the right side? If it was my choice, I put them in now & let them learn on the fly...I'd have Adams, Decastro, Pouncey, Foster/Colon, Gilbert as my starters week 1. I think we all know that won't happen. I expect the Steelers to start out with Gilbert, Decastro, Pouncey, Foster, Colon. That's an upgrade from last year. That also redshirts Adams for a year, unless there's an injury. Then you have to move Gilbert again in 13, when Adams is ready, which I'm not a huge fan of.
I'd also axe Scott & resign Starks for insurance. Scot deserves to be tarred & feathered for his play at LT last year.

It does wonder what the 74 steelers draft grade was at the time of the draft

The 74 Steelers draft rated as Ass. As in whipping the Cowgirls Ass every time. Greatest class ever your worst nightmare as a football fan.

This draft is totally freakin Awesome. I have not felt this good about a draft class since ever. We managed to get to three Super bowls with an average O-line and everybody knows it. We haven't had an awesome O-line since Dinosaurs were roaming Point State Park. Championship Teams can Dominate the Line of Scrimmage. That's why the Ta'amu Pick was key as well. Our O-line and D-line are in good shape with good depth. The only area of concern is ILB, with the question of Timmons Foote Sly and Spence. They might be good, it remains to be seen. Rainey could be electric like ABrown. Clemons will make it if he can catch the jump ball.
