I'll tell you what, when our opponents are punting on our side of the 50 yard line I wouldn't have Rainey fielding the punts ... which will most likely be kicks that are either going to be aimed out of bounds or short and high enough to induce a fair catch ... I'd have him lined up to block them and put someone else back there to field them.

He was the lead-off guy on at least two 4x100m National Champion relays. Fellow Gator RB, Jeff Demps, who is closing in on becoming the 81st person to break 10 seconds, was the anchor both times. The guy gains ground on a damn good D1 sprinter. 10.36 100m PR, that's no joke. He has world-class straight-line speed.

Z And if you got a punter that likes to angle his punts out of bounds in those situations, send Rainey in from the side the punter likes to turn towards to punt to. Z

I had a vision today of Haley calling a well set up screen. DD & MoP led the way for Rainey who then proceeded to leave stunned Rats in his wake.

Not sure if this was posted earlier, from Pro Football Weekly: Quote: Clocked a 1.47-second 10-yard dash, tying for the best time at the Combine and notching the best 20-yard short shuttle (3.93 seconds).

A 4.45 average is nothing to sneeze at, and while a quick start is important in the 100m, it is far more advantageous in the 40yd. So you'd think a true track guy like Rainey would have excellent long speed. Judging by the track videos, Rainey has the long speed. How'd Mike Wallace beat a 10.3 guy by 0.2 seconds while matching him over the first 10 yards. Is Wallace a 10.1 guy? How many NFL speed demons could have broken 10 seconds had they focused on track instead?

Why would you focus on track? I ran track, and it sucked hairy balls...
You do speed intervals until you puke, and the reward is wearing gay ass shorts and trying to hit on dykes...
Meantime, over on the baseball field, guys are taking it easy, chewing tobacco, and still getting laid.
Cheers to all the people who weren't stupid like me.

Cheers to all the people who weren't stupid like me. i did track and football... sprinters didn't do shit at our track practices... jogged a couple laps, practiced starting out of the blocks for a while, did 4x1 handoffs, ran a couple practice 4x1s and called it a day or went and practiced high jump. might be why my PR in the 100 was a full second slower than rainey's.
